Multicart Checkouts

While creating a page inside a checkout flow, during the selecting template step, you may see "Multicart" at the top right of the template (as shown in the screen below).

If you select one of these templates, you have to ability to use the "products" parameter in your URL to customize the cart with multiple products that you've imported into Bridge Cart and set inside the page editor. You'll also be able to set the quantity for each product too. Let's look at this in detail.

After selecting one of these templates, click on the "Products Section" inside the editor.

Select the product you'd like to use and fill out the various fields such as the price, description and default quantity. For our example we'll select a Black Ops Laser x1 for our first product and we'll set it as the default product. And we'll add a Black Ops Laser x2 for our second product. When you're done with adding the products to this flow, click "Apply Changes" followed by "Save" at the top right.

It's important to note the ID of the products we chose in our editor. If you're unsure what they are, you can easily find out by going to your main dashboard, navigating to "Products" in your left hand menu and then finding the appropriate products in the imported list.

Now click the "Preview" button at the top right in your editor to see what your checkout will look like. Here is ours. You'll notice that it shows the default product, the single, x1 Black Ops Laser product that was imported from our CRM.

This is default what the customer would see when visiting this checkout page. However, if you needed to customize this for any reason (customer service special offer, a temporary deal, etc), you can change things up by slightly altering the URL with the "products" parameter. Let's say you wanted to have Black Ops Laser x1 package like it is but you wanted two of them. And let's also say you wanted the Black Ops Laser x2 package but only one of those. Here's how you'd set the URL (x1 package ID is 1 and x2 package ID is 2 as shown in the screenshot above).

your.domain.com/slug-name?products=1:2,2

The important thing to notice is the ?products=1:2,2 at the end of the URL. The first number signifies the first product to include in the flow. You can add a colon and a number after that to signify the quantity of this product. If you wish to add another product, add a comma and include the next product ID. If you want one quantity just add the ID. If you want more than one, add the colon and a number like you did for the first quantity. Want a third product? Add a comma and repeat.

If one of the products your using has variants, you can include a third colon with the variant ID (found in your KNK CRM). An example of what that might look like is:

?products=1:2:7,2
